3rd/4th grade Writing/Grammer, SUMMER, $260, 50 minutes

3rd/4th grade tutoring group to meet on Wednesdays for 8 weeks. As your child gets older, the demands of writing increase significantly including the writing STAAR test in 4th grade that tests on proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Additionally, students will be required to utilize written expression in all classes throughout their secondary education. Early intervention is key to helping students make significant gains in their writing. This class will work to sharpen vocabulary and spelling skills , improve knowledge in proper grammar and punctuation rules , help students work towards mastering writing skills in paragraph and essay development, and apply the five steps of the writing process: prewriting, drafting, revising, editing and publishing . The kids enjoy the classes, the teachers love what they're doing, and it really helps to set your child up for success for the following school year! We LOVE hearing feedback from parents sharing how well their child did during the following year and how the progress they made over the summer really set them up for success for the school year!

This class will meet once a week for 50 minutes on Wednesdays the first 4 weeks in June and July. Class size is kept small and will be around a dozen or less students. The cost of the class is $260 for all of June and July--8 weeks total (we will not meet the last week in July). Total cost includes payment for the class, materials fee, facility rental fee, and registration. We are a LLC, have filings with the state, and carry insurance. A payment of $250 will be due in April and the $10 registration fee will be due the first day of class. You will be sent an invoice for the class and the registration is complete once the invoice is paid. You will be given one week to pay the invoice. If the invoice is not paid on time, your child will be dropped from the class. Since we secure staff, rent classroom space, and prepare materials based on the amount of students registered, no refunds will be given for students who drop the class.
