4th/5th grade readers' and writers' workshop, $260, 50 minutes, July 2x/week SUMMER

Language Specific class w/ Reader’s Writer’s workshop 4th/5th grade, $260, 50 minutes each.

Reading and writing group to meet on Monday and Wednesdays for 4 weeks in July. Instead of doing the summer slide, your students will SOAR into the next grade. They will work on grade level TEKS learning objectives for reading comprehension, reading fluency, and writing. This is a hands-on reading and writing workshop program with one-on-one teacher conferences, not just a once a week tutoring session. Student work is individualized according to their current reading level and comprehension abilities. Through one-on-one conferences, the teacher will be able to guide student’s understanding and teach according to their specific needs and levels. Conferencing with a teacher during workshop gives the students immediate feedback, guidance, and allows the student to expand their understanding on specific teaching points. This reading and writing workshop will set your child up for success for the following school year!

Class size is kept small and will be around a dozen or less students. The cost of the class is $260 for sessions that meet twice a week the first 4 weeks in July on Mondays and Wednesdays--8 sessions total (we will not meet the last week in July). Total cost includes payment for the class, materials’ fee, facility rental fee, and registration. We are a LLC, have filings with the state, and carry insurance. You will be sent an invoice for the class in April minus the $10 registration fee that will be due the first day of class. Your child is registered once the invoice is paid. You will be given one week to pay the invoice. If the invoice is not paid on time, your child will be dropped from the class. Since we secure staff, rent classroom space, and prepare materials based on the amount of students registered, no refunds will be given for students who drop the class.
