Instead of the summer slide, your students will SOAR into the next grade. They will work on reading comprehension and fluency, math facts, guided reading, STAAR objectives, and math problem solving. All students will bring home leveled readers and quick homework activities to accelerate learning.

About the event
This 8-week class will meet once a week on Wednesdays for 8 weeks on the same day/time each week. For example, a class could meet on Wednesdays from June 11 to July 30 from 4:00-4:50 pm each week (see above for the correct designated time). There will be 8 classes in total. Please register for the grade your child will attend in the fall of 2025. Instead of the summer slide, your students will SOAR into the next grade. They will work on reading fluency and comprehension, math facts, guided reading, math problem solving, and grade-level STAAR and TEKS learning objectives. All students will bring home leveled readers or reading comprehension fluency passages and quick homework activities to accelerate learning.
