Reading and writing group to meet on Monday and Wednesdays for 4 weeks in July. Instead of doing the summer slide, your students will SOAR into the next grade. They will work on grade level TEKS learning objectives for reading comprehension, reading fluency, and writing. This is a hands-on reading and writing workshop program with one-on-one teacher conferences, not just a once a week tutoring session. Student work is individualized according to their current reading level and comprehension abilities. Through one-on-one conferences, the teacher will be able to guide student’s understanding and teach according to their specific needs and levels.
