SAT and ACT-- $220, Practice Makes Perfect!!

This class will meet on the below dates and times. This below time is for math-only tutoring for the SAT.

June and July, 4-week class @100 minutes each, June 22-July 13, Thursdays at 5:00-6:40 pm

Getting into your favorite college is extremely stressful. Universities often very quickly make a determination based on your GPA and SAT/ACT scores. This is one time in your child's life that your child's performance on one simple test can make or break things. Our SAT/ACT-trained tutors know the very best tips, tricks, and advice to help accelerate your child's scores. The owner of Encompass Academics personally used both of our SAT tutors for her graduating senior. Her senior's score was above the 90th percentile and she was accepted into all of her favorite schools. She also qualified for the honors college at all of her top schools and received many prestigious scholarship offers, including over $30,000 in scholarships to a very well-respected University.  The owner's son will be in these classes, also, in order to help best prepare him. 

The SAT tutors have been trained in the SAT/ACT Princeton Review and have worked for college preparatory agencies offering this tutoring for many years. The language teacher has her bachelor's and master's degrees and over 20 years of experience as a writing consultant and college professor. The math teacher has a bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in chemistry. He currently works in finance and has been tutoring/working for over a dozen years. We are so excited to have this dream team back with us this summer!

Students will purchase the Princeton Review SAT test prep book that includes sample tests in the workbook.  Please wait for a link to the book as there are several versions.  There will be practice outside of class, as well, in order to help your child accelerate their skills quickly and put their best foot forward. Students will become familiar with the test format, thus reducing test anxiety and improving overall performance. 

The payment is due upon registration.  Since we secure staff, rent classroom space, and prepare materials based on the number of students registered, no refunds will be given to students who drop the class.  You are welcome to see if you can find a replacement to take your child's place and you can collect the payment for the sessions.  Make-up sessions are not offered for missed sessions.
