SAT and ACT 7/23-8/6-- LANGUAGE $200, Practice Makes Perfect!!

This class will meet on Tuesdays for 3 weeks, July 23-August 6, 1:00-2:30 p.m.   Sessions are 90 minutes long. This is for language-only tutoring for the SAT/ACT.  All tutoring sessions will occur at Trinity Fellowship Church in Friendswood or the local Friendswood library--we will let you know before the class starts.  This class is hosted by Encompass Academics and our company does not have an affiliation with Friendswood Library.

Getting into your favorite college is extremely stressful. Universities often very quickly decide based on your GPA and SAT/ACT scores. This is one time in your child's life that your child's performance on one simple test can make or break things. Our SAT/ACT-trained tutors know the very best tips, tricks, and advice to help accelerate your child's scores. The owner of Encompass Academics personally used both of our SAT tutors for her daughter. Her daughter's score was above the 90th percentile and she was accepted into all of her favorite schools. She also qualified for the honors college at all of her top schools and received many prestigious scholarship offers, including over $40,000 in scholarships to a very well-respected University.  The owner's son took these classes last summer. He just recently received his SAT score and his score went up 150 points after taking the math and language SAT class. He now has many additional colleges to explore that are now offering him very competitive merit scholarships, admission to their honors programming, and more. The owner's son will take the classes again this summer to fine-tune his skills to help prepare him for the SAT tests this summer. Most companies that offer SAT tutoring that yield these kinds of results charge $1,500-$2,000/class. It is our goal to offer you exceptional tutoring at affordable rates. We are very blessed to have this dynamic duo with Encompass Academics. 

The SAT tutors have been trained in the SAT/ACT Princeton Review and have worked for college preparatory agencies offering this tutoring for many years. The language teacher has her bachelor's and master's degrees and over 20 years of experience as a writing consultant and college professor.  She's been tutoring language and the SAT for many, many years. The math teacher has a bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in chemistry. He teaches secondary math and he has experience working in finance. He has been tutoring in math and SAT for many years.  Both of these tutors have been trained in the SAT Princeton Review. The owner trusts them so much, she is exclusively using these tutors and this class to prepare her own children. We are so excited to have this dream team back with us! 

This SAT class is for language only, we are offering two sessions of language SAT this summer so please check our website if these dates/times do not work for you. Please also see our website for our math SAT sessions. If you are interested in other days/times than what we have listed for SAT tutoring or wish to have one-on-one sessions, please contact our scheduling assistant at eatutortx@gmail.com. If we have enough parents needing different times/dates, we will look at opening up additional sessions. 

Students will purchase the Princeton Review SAT prep book that includes sample tests in the workbook.  Please wait for a link to the book as there are several versions and you want to purchase the correct one that the tutors will be using.  There will be practice outside of class, as well, to help your child accelerate their skills quickly and put their best foot forward. Students will become familiar with the test format, thus reducing test anxiety and improving overall performance. 

The payment is due upon registration.  Since we secure staff, rent classroom space, and prepare materials based on the number of students registered, no refunds will be given to students who drop the class.  You are welcome to see if you can find a replacement to take your child's place and you can collect the payment for the sessions.  Make-up sessions are not offered for missed sessions.
